Phylosophy
After 20 years and many gastronomic successes, Christophe Royer
sold his restaurant on 1 January 2006. Christophe is looking
for a new challenge outside the Netherlands.
To guarantee the existence of restaurant Christophe', he sold
his restaurant to Ellen and Jean-Joel. They were already working
at Christophe' and the name is maintained. Ellen worked as a
sommelier at Christophe' and since 1 January 2006 she also is
in charge of purchasing. During opening hours she still works
in her profession of sommelier.
Before his 15 year long career with Christophe', Frenchman Jean-Joel
worked with various French restaurants. He worked for Paul Bocuse
of restaurant Barrier in Tours, and restaurant Les Templiers
in Les Bezards. Now that he and Ellen are joint owners of Christophe',
he has complete supervision over the menu.
